NUMBER OF ENTRIES
There is no limit to the total number of entries a studio may enter, however, Soloists are limited to 3 Solos per Regional event and cannot compete against themselves in any one Subject. Duo/Trio, Groups, etc., to compete in same Age/Subject, there must be less than 50% of the same dancers in particular routine.
ENTRY CONFIRMATION
Once we receive your entries online, within 2 days you will receive confirmation through email, (email address you provide to us). We ask for you to confirm receiving the “confirmation” email. If you do not receive a “confirmation email” from us within 2 days of submitting your entries, please call our office immediately 603-347-1063.
SCHEDULING
Dance Ovations created their own format from the onset, which has been proven to be highly successful for all. We do not have a set schedule, nor do we schedule Categories/Subjects together. At Dance Ovations, each event is created to suit that event. With scheduling done this way, it enables us to better accommodate teacher’s special requests, always allowing adequate time for costume changes, etc.
No event will begin before 8:00am, with ending at 10:00pm. Friday events will begin at 4:00pm.
Regional Events: 1 – 3 days maximum. National Events: 4 days maximum.
Dance Ovations reserves the right to extend and or to modify scheduling due to capacity of an event.
We will adhere to and follow all CDC Guidelines that are in place at the time of each event.
SCHEDULING REQUESTS
Any routine that performs on a different day then Dance Ovations originally scheduled, said routines will not be eligible for any “High Score” or “Overall Awards”, Adjudication only. You, the studio owner, have the option of making necessary changes to better suit your dancer’s needs, costume changes, make-up, etc. Theses changes must be requested by the deadline date with the first schedule emailed to you. These changes must be called in to our office (NO EMAILS), no later than deadline date. We will do our best to accommodate all requests but please remember that not all requests can be guaranteed. Please DO NOT give out the schedule to your dancers until CONFIRMED through us. Once our final Program has been printed, there will be NO changes allowed, including holds on the day of the competition.
ENTRY DEADLINE
Entries must be received, along with payment in full at least 30 days prior to the first day of event.
LATE ENTRIES
Any and or all “late entries”, this includes but not limited to any routines that were not submitted with your original Registration, will be accepted, with schedule permitting, only through the sole decision of Dance Ovations. Additional late fees will be applied.
Dance Ovations reserves the right to close an event prior to the “Deadline” should the number of entries exceed the allotted schedule. To ensure your “spot” please register early. All entries will be accepted on first come basis.
HOLD YOUR DATES
Dance Ovations will not overbook any of our events. We reserve the right to close an event before Deadline if an event fills before that date. We understand and respect the planning on your end when choosing and scheduling your competitions for the season. To ensure your chosen event with us, please see our “HOLD YOUR DATES” agreement, located on your landing page of our Online Registration.
ENTRY FEES/PAYMENT
Once your submitted entries are confirmed, you accept full responsibilities of said payment due. Your Payment in full must be received in our office at least 30 days prior to start of competition.
REFUNDS: Once you have submitted entries online to Dance Ovations, you are solely responsible for payment in full. There are no refunds of any kind, including but not limited to scheduling conflicts. If a dancer cannot participate due to an injury or sickness, Dance Ovations must receive a legitimate letter from the dancer’s doctor to issue a credit for the dancer’s SOLO routine ONLY. The credit will be issued to the studio of said dancer and can be used at any of our other events throughout the season, including but not limited to Preliminaries. Events that are forced to postpone/cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather, Government shutdown, etc., with no make-up date/venues made available to you, Dance Ovations is giving 2 options: you will be given a studio credit (monies received to date) with us and may be used for a later date in same season, including and not limited to Preliminaries/Nationals, or you can choose to be refunded (less 3% administration fee) of total monies received to date.
