No dancer/dancers will be allowed into the Titles Division without required studio participation. All Contestants entering into the Title competition, will do so with the commitment of obligation, if they win the Regional Title, to represent their Region and compete at the National Championships. Every Title Contestant will pay an additional fee, prepaid at time of Regionals (Deposit to Nationals, see Online for details). Regional Title Winners will forfeit their Deposit if they do not represent their Title at Nationals. All other Regional Contestants, National Deposit will be returned. All Title Contestants must also be entered in the Performing Arts competition, not solely in the Titles Division. In Performing Arts Division, they must perform a Solo (different than Title routine), Duo/Trio, Group, etc. Prior to their performance, Contestants will have a private Interview with the Judges, the morning of the competition. No dance wear, costume or studio wear is to be worn to Interview. Contestants are to wear something that best suits their personality, anything from jeans, T-shirt and sneakers to a party dress and heels. During the Interview, (approximately 5 minutes) the Judges will ask a couple of simple questions (age appropriate), engaging in conversation with them, getting to know a little bit about them. Contestants are not allowed at any time to mention their studio or teacher by name. This will result in point deduction. Title performances will be later throughout the day. Time Limit of routine is not to exceed 2:45 minutes.
